Albeit told Tax about how he had not wanted to join the empire and had found other clones like him to destroy it once and for all. On board the Commodore's ship, his communication screen buzzed on to Albeit's and they began a discussion. The Brotherhood of Loyalists have only just finished been at war two years prior which left them crippled, and were preparing to attack an Imperial base on Rhen Var in an attempt to take the planet as their new base, but they were surprised to find out that it wasn't just them and the Imperials on the planet, a Red Commodore known as Zanzibar Tax was also present who was performing a reconnaissance mission on Rhen Var.īoth Zanzibar Tax and Albeit decided to try and make a truce so they could battle the Empire together. However, Tax found two things he never would have expected to find: an Imperial barracks and a small army of Republic clones. This was a fairly routine task as the planet was not known for surprises, and had been almost deserted for hundreds of years. Zanzibar Tax, one of the twenty-three commodores active at this time, was performing a reconnaissance mission around Rhen Var. The Red Commodores were at the peak of their powers in 13 BBY, so had several hundred soldiers under their command.
