I'm a fan of this game, but no game is worth getting a headache because some asshat thought the "I got hit sound" should be louder than ANYTHING else in the goddamn game. but before I go down that rabbit hole, I thought I'd ask if anyone else had any suggestions/advice for disabling or at least toning down the volume from 400db for the sound of car batteries being thrown into a dumpster. I'm willing to dig into BNK editing, etc. Setting Night Mode in the WoT Client (This seems to have the effect of lowering everything else, but not the "I got hit sound", so that sound actually comes through louder facepalm. Sound packs - Most of these replace the gun sounds with even louder sounds that don't help the problem.
I'm desperate to change this sound somehow. Note: This particular sound seems to be controlled by the Effects slider, meaning if you turn it down, you're missing most of the sound related info on how your tank is "doing".
